​GRS are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installations and maintenance work within the water industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical teams working on water treatment plants, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure.

  • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, site procedures, and health & safety standards.

  • Coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities.

  • Carry out inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.

  • Manage materials, tools, and resources efficiently.

  • Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on site progress.

Requirements

  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) Certification – Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

  • ECS Gold Card / CSCS Card (Preferred)

  • Proven experience supervising electrical work in the water industry or similar environments (e.g., utilities, industrial sectors)

  • Knowledge of control panels, motors, pumps, and automation systems

  • Strong understanding of permit-to-work systems and site safety protocols

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
