Industrial Electrician (Water Industry Experience) – Avonmouth, Bristol
Hours:45 hours per week
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician with a proven background in the water industry to join a flagship project for Wessex Water in Avonmouth.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of electrical cable laddering and containment systems, including ladder rack, tray, trunking and conduit
MCC (Motor Control Centre) works, including positioning, fixing, glanding and termination
Cable pulling, dressing and securing to specification and drawings
Work from electrical drawings, site specifications, and WIMES standards
Support site teams on installation, upgrades, and maintenance works
Ensure safe working practices and compliance with water industry standards
Requirements:
Experience working on water industry projects(clean or wastewater)
ECS Gold Card
WIMES knowledge and ability to work from detailed electrical drawings
Flexibility to travel – role involves working away with accommodation covered
Positive attitude, good communication skills, and ability to work within site teams
